Now in its 38th year, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center's annual Arts Festival was developed as a service to artists and to our audiences; the nurturing of connections between artists and public is at the heart of our mission. The event has long been known for its quality as well as its caring, effective staff and volunteers.

Be a Festival Patron
Pledge to spend $250 or more on art at the Midsummer Festival of the Arts. You will receive a complimentary breakfast prepared by Margaux and a private preview of all the artists’ booths between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.! Suggested minimum purchase (can be in various booths): $250 per individual patron, and $300 per patron couple. Plan to bid on the Chefs’ Challenge; a collaborative contest in which you and a Destination Kohler chef battle other teams for culinary glory!
Artists' Application Process
This year participating artists will register through Zapplication
, an online application process, which allows artists to directly
upload high quality digital images of their artwork for jury review.
Using the Zapplication system is free to artists! Since it resides on
the Internet, artists can manage applications while traveling and each
artist's contact information only needs to be entered into the system
once. Zapplication
is paperless and its e-mail functionality allows immediacy in
communication between the artist and show organizers. Artists save
money on reproductions of slides and can upload up to 40 digital images
to be stored in an online portfolio. Artists select which images to
submit for each show and the system guarantees that the images and
information are kept secure and confidential. To apply to the Arts
