Friday, May 16, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
The John Michael Kohler Arts and the Pecatonica Educational Charitable Foundation (Blanchardville, WI) invite you to discover and celebrate “Grandview,” an art-environment created by Nick Engelbert in Hollandale. Grandview is located in Iowa County and is 1/2 a mile west of Hollandale, Wisconsin on Highway 39, between Mineral Point and New Glarus.

The Village of Hollandale will hold its annual “Great Grandview Parade” from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00, traveling from downtown Hollandale to the Grandview site. Then stay for a welcome from Wisconsin State Representative Steven Hilgenberg at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation by the Arts Center’s Senior Curator of Exhibitions and Collections, Leslie Umberger. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion with individuals involved in preservation, conservation, and ongoing care of this American treasure: Molly Ross of Nana Projects, Nancy Schreiber, member of Kohler Foundation’s Preservation Committee, and Rick Rolfsmeyer of the Pecatonica Educational Charitable Foundation. The festivities continue with a brat fry and light refreshments until 7:30 p.m.
