Both Laura Pickett Calfee (TX) and Giselle Hicks (MA) illuminate the significance of the home through their intimate works. Giselle Hicks uses pillow and egg forms, carefully sculpted from porcelain, as symbols of the home and metaphors of fragility and comfort.
