Saturday, May 3, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (half-hour break for lunch each day) (2 sessions, 11 hours) Join Chicago artist Jesse Mathes for this extraordinary opportunity to apply textile techniques to metal. Using very thin gauge wire and sheet metal, students will learn spiral wire braiding, plating sheet metal, and riveting closures to create jewelry or small sculptures.
