Artist and author of "Stupid Sock Creatures," John Charles Murphy (NC) brings his quirky humor and lovable aesthetics to the Arts Center during the Midsummer Festival of the Arts weekend for drop-in workshops to make your very own sock monster. Sewing machines, notions, buttons, odds and ends, and socks will be on hand as well as the artist and collaborators to help inspire your creation.
