At this post-dinner event, the acceptance of SPACES Archives by Kohler Foundation, Inc. was celebrated. Current and past SPACES board members offered a whirlwind presentation of the history of SPACES, the scope of the archives, and its value to scholars and appreciators. Kohler Foundation staff outlined their outstanding resources and ambitious plans.

A champion of under-recognized artists and art forms, Seymour Rosen was a pioneer in the effort to preserve artist-built environments. As a young man, the art environments that dotted the California landscape captivated him. He began photographing the sites and advocating for their preservation.
