Known for their “squeeze-box rock,” Copper Box returns to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Saturday, April 1, 7–10 p.m., for an energy-filled, April Fools night out.

“It’s a great mix of live music, culture and cocktails,” said Ann Brusky, senior manager of public programs at the Arts Center. “Do a little dancing, enjoy the exhibitions in the galleries, meet up with friends and unwind.”

Based in Oshkosh, Wis., Copper Box combines roots-music influences from Cajun, zydeco, rock and polka traditions in their performances of original and covered material. As one music journalist commented, “(Copper Box) refreshing as a cool spring breeze blowing new life into a stuffy room...worth checking out!”

They have opened for The Doobie Brothers, Little Feat, Buckwheat Zydeco, WC Clark, Little Big Town, Little River Band, Peter Frampton, Marcia Ball, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and America. Band members include Danny Jerabek, button accordion and vocals; Michelle Jerabek, vocals and saxophones; Dave Chyla, bass; and Dan Cable, drums.

Tickets are $15 ($10 for Arts Center members); must be age 21 or over. For more information and tickets, call the Arts Center at 920-458-6144 or visit
