Amy Brier

Amy Brier is a sculptor who creates artworks that emphasize the human figure. Her work is installed on the Indiana University campus, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Jewish Museum (NY), Lincoln National Insurance Company, and Indianapolis Zoological Society. She has had exhibitions at New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, Owen County Art Museum (KY), Indianapolis Art Center (IN), Museum of Art and Science (IN), John Waldron Art Center (IN), Drasl Art Center (MI), National Museum of Women in the Arts (DC). She has been featured in Indianapolis Star, Bloomington Herald-Times, Bloom Magazine, NUOVO, and Indiana University Press, among others.

She has received grants from Indiana Arts Commission and Indiana Arts Council. Brier holds a BFA in sculpture from Boston University and MFA in sculpture from Indiana University. Brier is the founder and director of the Limestone Sculpture Symposium.
