Arts/Industry: Pottery, 2010
Brooklyn artist Beth Campbell earned her MFA from Ohio University and has taught at the Tyler School of Art, PA, and the Pacific Northwest College of Art, OR. She exhibits her work widely at such venues as the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY; Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York, the Anne Mosseri – Marilo Galerie in Zurich, Switzerland; and the Art Basel, Miami, FL. Beth works with a wide range of media and has recently been working with installations and mobiles. Through repetition and the use of commonplace objects, she forces the viewer to reexamine everyday life by creating perceptually and psychologically challenging encounters.
