Linda Casbon’s work translates forms into a language of metaphoric associations. It hints at meanings without using literal descriptions.

Casbon has exhibited her work at Worchester Center for Crafts Pottery Invitational (MA), Peekskill Clay Studios (NY), Atlantic Gallery (NY), Clay Art Center (NY), Saranac Art Projects (WA), Bemis Center for Contemporary Art (NE), New Bedford Art Museum (MA), Kingsborough Art Gallery (NY), Kent State University Art Gallery (OH), Supermarket (Sweden), and Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art (NY), among others. Her work is in the collection of Archie Bray Foundation, Bemis Foundation, John Michael Kohler Art Center, and Kohler Co. Casbon has been featured in Ceramics Monthly, Studio Potter Magazine, Artscope, and Singular Works, among others. She has been an artist-in-residence or fellow at Baie St. Marie Artist Residency, Heliker-LaHotan Foundation, Greenwich House Pottery, Arts/Industry at Kohler Co., New York Foundation for the Arts, and Bemis Foundation. Casbon received a BA in environmental design from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MFA in ceramics from Kent State University.
