Daniel Engelke is professor emeritus of Art and Design at Purdue University. He has exhibited at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, and SOFA Chicago. His work has been included in a number of exhibitions, including the International Exhibition of Design, St-Etienne, France, and The Altech Ceramics Bienniale 2000, Sandon Civic Center, South Africa. Engelke has served on the faculties of the University of Southern Indiana (1971–78) and Purdue University (1978–2004.)
