Hoss Haley

Hoss Haley creates two- and three-dimensional works in steel, concrete, and bronze. His works have been exhibited in New Gallery of Modern Art (NC), Blue Spiral 1 Gallery (NC), North Carolina Museum of Art, Asheville Art Museum, Appalachian State University, among others. Haley has completed public art projects for the Pack Square Conservancy (Asheville, NC), Charlotte Area Transit System and Mecklenburg County (NC), as well as several privately commissioned large-scale steel sculptures.

His work is in the collections of Asheville Art Museum, Mint Museum of Craft + Design, Linden Sculpture Park, and Sam Houston State University, among others. He has been a resident artist at Penland School of Crafts (NC) and at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (WI). Haley apprenticed as a blacksmith for several years in Texas and New Mexico and is represented by Momentum Gallery.
