Christina Kemp

Christina Kemp is a mixed-media sculptor based in Portland, Oregon. She received an MFA from Arizona State University and BFA from Oregon College of Art and Craft. Kemp’s work examines the passing of time through the use of accumulative hand gestures rooted in craft and composed of contemporary materials.

Kemp has been an educator, exhibition preparator, and currently works as a fabricator for stop-motion feature films. Her work has been exhibited at spaces that range from Oregon Contemporary to the Phoenix Institute for Contemporary Art. She recently was a resident at Glean Portland.
