Michael Machnic

Michael Machnic is a former architect and creates interactive artworks. His work has been exhibited nationally and received numerous awards. Machnic also collaborates with artist Stuart Keeler on public artworks. Their work is installed at the Mechanical Engineering building at University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Tacoma Community College (WA), the Phoenix Valley Metro Light Rail as part of a commission by Valley Metro Public Art Program, the 900 East Station in Salt Lake City, the Indianapolis International Airport, and near Lake Union in Seattle, Washington. He has contributed to a Chicago-based public project of visioning workshops, engaging with the 1st Ward neighborhoods to redefine themselves amid rapid urban revitalization.
