Andrew Martin

Andrew Martin lives and works in Los Angeles, California. His inspirations come from Chinese, Japanese and Middle Eastern ceramics. He has shown his work throughout the US and taught workshops and classes at places from Anderson Ranch in Colorado to Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina. He is the recipient of two NEA fellowships for individual artists. He is the author of a definitive book on mold making for ceramic artists, The Essential Guide to Mold Making & Slip Casting (Lark Books, 2006).
Martin received his MFA from Alfred University (NY) and BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (MO).
