Cindi Morrison

Cindi Morrison’s career has been as both an artist and an arts manager. Her career in arts management at a variety of nonprofit visual art organizations has spanned forty years. She retired from her role as the director of the Appleton Museum of Art/College of Central Florida in 2019, after eight years. In her role as director, Morrison curated and coordinated art exhibitions and educational programs that considered diverse audiences and engaged youth and adult visitors.

Morrison was awarded an individual fellowship by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. In 1995, she was an artist-in-residence at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Arts/Industry at Kohler Co.  She has exhibited widely in Pennsylvania. Her work can be found in numerous private collections as well as the Erie Art Museum, Pennsylvania.

Morrison holds an MFA in ceramics and art history from Edinboro University, Pennsylvania.
