Rob Neilson

Rob Neilson has created public art commissions throughout the United States, including projects in California, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington.

He has been an artist-in-residence at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Arts/Industry at Kohler Co. (WI). He has been a visiting artist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Virginia Tech University, Longwood University (VA), Dickinson College (PA), Millikin University (IL), and California State University-Fullerton.

Neilson received a BFA in fine arts from the College for Creative Studies and an MFA in sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is represented by the Frank Juarez Gallery (WI). Neilson is the Frederick R. Layton professor of art and associate professor at Lawrence University.
