Casey O’Connor began working with ceramics in 1977 while attending high school in Orange County. Ceramics gave him an outlet to express himself and has been in his life ever since.

O’Connor has aBFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and a MFA from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He has exhibited his work internationally and throughout the US, and while his artwork focuses on ceramics, mixed media is frequently used as well. O’Connor’s love and knowledge of ceramics has provided him with many opportunities to teach, travel, and research clay’s applications in both domestic and commercial uses.

O’Connor created the preschool washroom at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
