Denise Pelletier

Three time alum, Denise Pelletier, returned to the Pottery to continue creating devices inspired by cultural artifacts of hygiene and personal care. In addition to creating her large-scale complex installations, Pelletier is an Associate Professor of Art at Connecticut College in New London. Her work had been shown in numerous international and nation exhibitions, including the Museum of Arts and Design, NY; Skulpturens Hus, Stockholm, Sweden; Hogeschool Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands; he Museum for Angewandte Kunst, Frankfurt, Germany; and the Taipei County Yingge Ceramice Museum, Taipei, Taiwan.
