Dong Won Shin’s works have been exhibited at Gallery Jinsun (South Korea), Severance Art Space (South Korea), 63 Art Museum (South Korea), The Petit Gallery (South Korea), Gallery Sun Contemporary (South Korea), Foundation D’entreprise Bernardaud (France), Biennale Internationale Creation Contemporaraine rt Ceramique (France), Gallery HUUE (Singapore), Seoul Museum (South Korea), Hongil Museum of Art (South Korea), and Museum of Vancouver (Canada), among others.

Her work is in the collection of John Michael Kohler Arts Center (WI), Kohler Co. (WI), Clayarch Gimhae Museum (South Korea), Artbank (South Korea), Amore Pacific Museum (South Korea), and Seoul Museum of Art (South Korea), among others. She has been an artist-in-residence at Korea National University of Arts, Clayarch Gimhae Museum (South Korea), Jangheung Atelier (South Korea), The Clay Studio (PA), Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts (NE), and European Ceramic Work Centre (the Netherlands), among others.

Won Shin has received an artist fellowship from Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, Gyounggi Cultural Foundation, and the International Residency Program from Arts Council Korea, among others. She earned her BFA and MFA in ceramics from Hong Ik University, and an MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
