Laura Sindell

Seattle-based artist Laura Sindell creates mosaics and sculptural installations for public spaces. She has served many K-12 schools and universities as a teaching artist and ceramics instructor since the 1970s. In 2015, she co-organized the Rising Waters Confab at the Robert Rauschenburg Residency with artists Buster Simpson and Anne Focke.
Sindell studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle, Washington. She received a BFA in ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1975.
