Tom Uebelherr

Tom Uebelherr first exhibited at the JMKAC in 1985 with The Mister Tom Show followed by The Electric Jungle in 1988. Tom has worked extensively with diverse populations including incarcerated youth and in mental health care facilities. These experiences have influenced his own sculpture and painting over the years. He has exhibited his work in New York, Denmark, Chicago, Sun Valley Idaho and numerous other regional and national venues. He is the recipient of several teaching awards as well as numerous Wisconsin Arts Board Individual Project grants.
His most recent series of paintings entitled Ship Envy has been exhibited regionally.
