Lia Zulalian-Moynihan works primarily with clay and porcelain.

Zulalian-Moynihan attended two residencies at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Arts/Industry at Kohler Co. (WI), which expanded her practice into large-scale artworks made from cast iron and brass.

Her works are part of museum collections including the Peabody Essex Museum (MA), Racine Art Museum (WI), and John Michael Kohler Arts Center (WI). Her large-scale project titled The Gazebo is featured at Kohler Co. She has been included in the publications of 500 Figures in Clay, Art Doll Quarterly, and Handcrafted.

She holds a BFA from Alfred University.
