Thursdays, May 2–23, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
First, build a foundation and learn about the anatomy of horses—using Debra Butterfield’s horse sculpture at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center as a model. Then, spend the following three weeks drawing from a live model—a horse at the Kohler stables. Previous figure drawing experience recommended.

About the instructor:
Clarice Houseye is a proud native Sheboyganite who, after completing her BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, spent four years post-graduation living and working in Milwaukee as an Admissions Counselor, acting as mentor and educator for young artists. She recently moved back to the Kohler area to raise her toddler and has been expanding her skill sets in the areas of design and photography. Her personal work draws from the everyday, in using observation as a means of understanding the world around her in the forms of drawing, painting, and illustration.
