Youth Ceramics


Class runs Tuesdays, June 18, 25 and July 2, 23
12:30–2:00 p.m.

Sculpt and shape wet clay as you build pieces by hand. Experiment with a variety of methods to make your pieces one-of-a-kind. Then, learn about firing and ways to add to your creation after firing.

Age 7–9

About the instructor:

Taylor Strohmenger is a ceramics artist who graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in May 2017 with a BA in ceramics and in Spanish. She specializes in decorative raku firing, as well as functional wheel-thrown pieces. Through teaching at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Taylor hopes to pass her knowledge and passion for ceramics on to her students.
