CORE Conversations: Race and Class

10:00–11:30 a.m.

Each of us has our own set of physical, emotional, and intellectual abilities that affect the way we react to and move about in this world. Each of us also identifies as a certain race and as a certain class. This CORE Conversation will examine how our race and class identities guide the way we perceive and interact with the world.

Age 18+

CORE Conversations explore the realities of race, gender, sexuality, and power in our country and community. Reverend Lex Cade-White, an experienced facilitator, engages participants in approachable and inclusive discussions through creative expression and self-reflection. This series equips participants with the vocabulary and knowledge they need to more fully understand privilege, oppression, and the historical and current relations among diverse groups. The CORE Conversation series helps participants make a difference in their communities.
