In celebration of 50 years of art at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, ARTspace is bringing together five artists whose work befits a golden anniversary. Each of the featured works of art includes gold in color, element, or concept.

Delicately defined goldfinches adorn the magical realism paintings of Kelli Hoppmann (WI), while 24k gold leaf creates a warm and reflective background in landscape paintings by Miles Bair (IL). Glass vessels by Fred Kaemmer (MN) radiate a golden glow, and the jewelry of Christine Mackellar (NY) and Winnie Chai (NY) bring the precious metal itself to the exhibition.
