Youth Dance Classes

The Arts Center's Youth Dance program encourages the love of movement and builds physical confidence in children age 3–18. Classes span a range of styles and techniques, from early childhood creative movement to traditional ballet to modern dance to ethnic fusion.

Students develop confidence in their physical, social, performance, and creative skills in these fun-filled, process-based classes culminating in a stellar springtime performance. Students work September through May in small classes with instructors dedicated to ensuring that attention is paid to each individual’s skill development. Many classes have live musical accompaniment and students get opportunities to explore the galleries and use the works of art to inspire movement.
