The Arts Center is Open!

Please Make a Reservation

COVID-19 has brought many changes to the ways we conduct our daily lives.

At the Arts Center, the safety and well-being of our visitors and staff remains our top priority. As such, we have implemented new procedures and policies to support a safe environment. On this page you can learn about the changes we have made to reduce health risks and what to expect when you visit the Arts Center.

These changes include instituting timed-entry reservations and requiring face coverings and physical distancing. Our public hours have been reduced to accommodate a more frequent cleaning schedule. In addition, hand-sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the Arts Center, and health checks are conducted whenever staff enter the building. Details about these and other new policies can be found below.

We look forward to seeing you in person soon!

Be well,

Sam Gappmayer
JMKAC Director

Timed Entry

Visitor capacity has been reduced to allow for social distancing in the galleries and other areas.

To ensure that you can enter the Arts Center at the time of your choosing, please make a timed reservation online or call 920-458-6144. If you do not make a reservation, you will be admitted to the building in the next available time slot. All visitors must agree to the JMKAC Visitor Pledge.

JMKAC Visitor Pledge

All visitors are asked to abide by this code of conduct to keep everyone safe while enjoying the Arts Center. When advance booking your visit or checking in at the door, everyone will be asked to agree to the following behaviors.

I Will

Check Myself: If I am exhibiting any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, including an elevated temperature, I will stay home and come another day.

Wear a Mask:  I wear a mask not for my safety, but for the safety of other visitors and JMKAC staff. Because they all are doing the same, they are keeping me safe.

Keep My Hands Clean:  I will use hand sanitizer upon arrival and anytime I come into contact with surfaces that I need to touch.

Keep a Safe Social Distance: I will mind the signs and keep 6 feet between me and other visitors and staff. Safe social distance is at least 2 adult arm lengths.

Go with the flow:  I will follow the indicated direction of movement throughout the building so that I and my fellow visitors can maintain a safe distance from one another.

Be Kind:  I will be respectful of my fellow visitors. I will follow the directions provided to me by the Arts Center, knowing that they are looking out for everyone’s health and safety.

I agree and want to make a timed reservation

When You Arrive

If you made a reservation in advance, you will be checked in, and you can enter the building at the designated time.

If you arrive without a timed reservation, a staff member will ask you to agree to the JMKAC Visitor Pledge. You will be allowed to enter at the next available time slot.

Remember that all visitors must wear a mask. Some masks will be available, but we suggest bringing your own to ensure entry.
