Dan Gunn

Dan Gunn is a Chicago-based artist, writer, and educator. In 2007, he received an MFA in painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he is now an adjunct assistant professor. He was awarded residencies at the Wassaic Project in Wassaic, New York; the University of Arkansas; Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass, Colorado; the Vermont Studio Center in Montpelier; and The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. Gunn has held recent solo exhibitions at the University Club of Chicago and at Good Weather in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He has also been featured in recent group shows at the Elmhurst Art Museum in Elmhurst, Illinois, and at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
