Aline Lo is a scholar of American refugee literature and critical Hmong American studies. She currently holds the position of assistant professor of Asian American literature at Colorado College. She has published writings on authors such as Edwidge Danticat, Ariel Dorfman, and Kao Kalia Yang, and on the films Nyab Siab Zoo and The Betrayal. Her work can be found in American Studies Journal, LIT: Literature Interpretation Theory, and a/b:Auto/Biography Studies as well as the edited volumes Claiming Place: On the Agency of HMong Women, The Humanities in a World Upside Down, and most recently, The Routledge Handbook of Refugee Narratives.
