Rachel Beach

Rachel Beach earned an MFA from Yale University and a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her work has been recognized with several honors including a National Academy Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant, Canada Council grants, and residencies at Yaddo, the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Process Space, the Lower East Side Printshop, and Socrates Sculpture Park. Her work has been widely presented at venues including the Newcomb Art Museum, New Orleans; The Philbrook Museum, Tulsa, Oklahoma; The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Halifax; The New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester; and Thierry Goldberg Gallery, New York. Beach lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
