From January through May, the Arts Center’s ceramics studio will be open for five days a month to makers who want to work independently. Arts Center staff with expertise in sculpting or wheel throwing will be present during all open studio hours to answer basic questions and provide minimal assistance. All experience levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced ceramicists. It is ideal for those who’d like to explore the space and the art form without the rigor of a formal class.

All registrants must complete a studio orientation before attending open studio sessions.

Once enrolled in a Ceramics Open Studio session, you will receive an email with a form asking you to indicate which specific days you will use the studio during the week you selected.

Registration fee includes access to all five days of open studio that week, 25 pounds of clay, use of glaze, and firing of pieces made during the session.
