HMong textiles, both traditional and reimagined, are seen in this exhibition. We will explore the meaning behind this collection of objects that embody a lost homeland for HMong people. After the gallery tour, we will enjoy a visit from local HMong performing artists. JMKAC Preschool students will join us in the audience so we can learn together.

SPARK! is a creative engagement program for people with memory loss and their caregivers. It is free to attend, and the activities differ each month. A session typically begins with a visit to one of the Arts Center’s exhibitions, followed by a hands-on activity or art project in the Social Studio. SPARK! is a safe environment in which people can be themselves and let their imaginations roam freely.
SPARK! is supported by Mersberger Financial Group, Inc. and Home Instead.
Additional support come from the Kohler Trust for Arts and Education, the Frederic Cornell Kohler Charitable Trust, Kohler Foundation, Inc., and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
